Cafeteria

The hospital cafeteria is located directly across from Administration and is available to all visitors during lunch: Monday-Friday, 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and closed weekends Vending machines may also be found in the cafeteria or on the basement level, straight down the main hallway to the right.

Parking/Security

Visitor parking is provided in designated areas of the hospital lot. Spaces for handicapped parking also are available. While we strive to keep all areas of the hospital secure, we are not responsible for vehicle damage, fire or theft while parked in the hospital lot. Security is provided in the late evening and early morning hours.

Family Concerns

Biweekly patient care conferences give family members the opportunity to meet with clinical staff to discuss their loved one’s current condition and progress, and to answer questions. Conference time may be scheduled by calling Social Services at (214) 355-2656.

Post-Hospital Care

When your doctor determines that you no longer need the specialized services of our hospital but still require medical care, he or she may discharge you to a skilled nursing facility, a rehabilitation center, or to home care. Our discharge planner will help arrange for the services you may need after leaving the hospital.

Medicare and supplemental insurance policies have limited coverage for skilled nursing care and home healthcare. You should check your policies to be certain what services will be covered.
